Make the search specific
The component box searches category labels, not the full text of a complaint or bulletin. Complaints use CarTold's broad groupings; the other records use the component labels supplied by NHTSA. Leave the box blank first if you are unsure which term to use.
Results show short excerpts, newest first. The search retrieves up to 200 records per type and displays up to 300 in total, so the count is not an exhaustive total. Narrow your filters to find older records, then use the reference number to check the source on NHTSA.
